Why Vaulta exists 🌱

Most money apps show you a lot of numbers and leave you to work out the one that matters: what can I spend today? We wanted that number first, with the working shown, so you could argue with it if it looked wrong.

That one decision shaped everything else. A number is only worth trusting if it is built from honest inputs, so the rest of the product follows from asking what we would want to be told if we were the user.

How we work ☕

• Manual first. Every feature in the Free plan works with nothing connected. Bank linking exists, but only in the eight countries where it works reliably (Germany, Spain, Singapore, Australia, India, the UAE, Mexico and Brazil), and everywhere else you enter things by hand.
• We label what is simulated. Market data in Vaulta is simulated and says so. We decided against pretending to be a quotes terminal.
• We say what is not there. No brokerage, crypto or UPI connections. We would rather list it than let you assume.
• Your data stays with you. Financial data is held on your device and can be encrypted with a passcode we cannot recover.
• We meter what costs money. AI and bank aggregation are the things that cost us per use, so they live in the paid plans with clear monthly limits, and everything else is free.
